Vincent de Paul Center Nederland
center for social spirituality
Vincent de Paul Center Nederland (since 2012) is a center for social spirituality.
Aim
Based on a social-Christian spirituality we want to give an innovating impulse to the well-being of people, to the enhancing of communities and to the quality of the environment.
Vincent de Paul
Vincent de Paul, a French priest, lived in the 17th century. After roaming for many years, he found his destination in the solidarity with poor and vulnerable people. To this very day he is one of the great social icons of the Catholic Church.
Mission, Charity and Formation
Vincent de Paul’s three main programs are mission, charity and formation. Mission is the prophetic appeal to contribute to truth, beauty, and justice throughout the world. Charity is the affective and effective mutual aid and attention whenever needed. Formation is underlying activity to give quality to both mission and charity.
Focus
Our main areas of work are formation and development.
